«As a young Orthodox family, our greatest desire was for our children to grow up in Israel, our homeland. We wanted them to have the opportunity to be more naturally immersed in our traditions.

 

When we first arrived in Israel, we experienced a lot of very positive things. But it also took great energy to just keep our heads above water; and not allow ourselves to get discouraged by many hurdles. Initially, the language was a huge challenge. With the help and support of Volvieron del Sur, we were able to face the situation and acquire a basic level of communication. As we rise to the challenge of each new day, our confidence grows. We now feel more equipped to cope with local life.»
