The idea that Israel is the ‘land of miracles’ is a bit exaggerated. On the other hand, to have experienced local citizens visiting us at the center for new immigrants and bringing us food, furniture, new clothing and even free tickets for a soccer game, was overwhelming – it was almost a miracle! I want to thank Volvieron del Sur for their financial support that enabled me to finance my son’s new start at school.... My children and I hope for a better life, here, in our promised land. Thank you for your work, for being here for us and for bringing hope to many.»
